Although he’s known for his “bad boy” ways and questionable character, Billy Bob Thornton has never gotten himself into trouble like his eldest daughter. The “Bad Santa” actor’s daughter, Amanda Brumfiled, was indicted Wednesday on several charges – including first-degree murder, aggravated child abuse and aggravated manslaughter – in connection with the October 2008 death of a 1-year-old girl she was babysitting in Florida. She is under investigation for calling the police and claiming the child had hit her head, and could not be revived. However, an autopsy revealed a fractured skull and brain injury, leading the medical examiner to rule the death a homicide. When Brumfield was arrested, a publicist for Thornton told CNN that the actor, 53, and his daughter are estranged, “and [he] has had no contact with her for quite some time.”
