Back out for another day’s work on “American Idol,” Victoria Beckham was spotted making her way to auditions in Boston on Friday afternoon (August 14). The former Spice Girl looked her usual decked-out stylish self, posing with a few fans before heading into a local building to take care of the day’s work. And while she continues to fill in for recently retired judge Paula Abdul, Posh’s rep recently told press that there are no intentions to become a permanent fixture on the hit FOX show. “There are no talks of her being a permanent judge. They felt she was natural in Denver. [But] she has Fashion Week coming up, and she is focusing on that,” her rep tells.

For now my baby face has condemned me to play the teenager.”

Kate Winslet Heading For TV With ‘Mildred Pierce’
Kate Winslet will star in the television miniseries “Mildred Pierce,” according to Variety.

The star, fresh off her Oscar win for the film “The Reader,” will play the title role in the latest adaptation of the James M. Cain novel. Kate’s role is that of a bored housewife who tries out the restaurant business – and gets more than she bargained for. A previous version, the 1945 film of the same name, won Joan Crawford an Oscar.

She’s always up for some fun with the girls, and last night (August 14), Haylie Duff attended the opening night of the musical version, “Legally Blonde,” in Los Angeles. The “Napoleon Dynamite” actress looked stunning in a deep blue strapless dress with a belt paired with gray heels. The 24-year-old was a host and judge for the MTV show, “Legally Blonde: The Musical” which was created back in 2007 to find the perfect girl to play the lead role of Elle Woods. Hilary Duff Brings Her Charity Work To Columbia
Singer-actress Hilary Duff brought her Blessings in a Backpack program to Colombia Friday to distribute 3,000 knapsacks of food to poor children in a school district south of the capital city.

Duff will spend three days visiting children and participating in a vaccination campaign. She was greeted by Bogota Mayor Samuel Moreno, whom Duff said gave her “an amazing invitation” to bring the program to Colombia.

Always finding time to spend together, Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, and daughter Suri enjoyed some each other’s company earlier today (August 15) in Sydney, Australia. Their insider revealed, “It was just too fast, too soon for Jason.  He told Britney repeatedly that he would never marry, but she refused to believe him.  She thought she could change his mind by having a baby with him.”
