Lindsay Lohan Was Dating Heath Ledger?
Reports are being said that during the unexpected death of Heath Ledger in January of 2008, he was romantically involved with Lindsay Lohan. Dina Lohan spoke about it in a recorded conversation with Michael Lohan, her ex-husband and Lindsay’s father. Dina was reported saying that her oldest daughter “was dating Heath when he died….I don’t know if you know that, but I know cause I would drop her off and they were friends, very, very close.” Dina blames Ledger’s death for Lindsay’s behavior and that she was so devastated and said, “That f----ed her up.” Ledger passed away at the age of 28 from an accidental deadly combination of prescription drugs and had just recently separated from girlfriend and mother of their daughter, Michelle Williams. The announcement of his death made Dina very worried about her daughter. “When she’s drunk or takes an Adderall with it she will do something like Heath Ledger did in a second without thinking,” she tells her ex-husband on the tape. She also voiced fear about Lindsay’s then-relationship with DJ Samantha Ronson. “It’s very easy for a rational person to say. But for an irrational person who has a problem with her DNA and alcohol and Adderall and asthma and every other things she’s got wrong with her.” Lindsay has been criticizing her father for leaking conversations and intimate moments that were private between the family. “He’s disgusting to do this,” she wrote on Twitter. “It really hurts my mom for me and my siblings.”

Jackson Family Continues Battle Over Money
Continuing with their bitter battling, a motion was filed by Joe Jackson’s attorney that claims the lawyers controlling his son Michael Jackson’s estate have a “conflict of interest” and need to be removed as administrator’s of the King of Pop’s will - but Katherine Jackson feels differently. The document filed by Joe points out accusations including fraud against the will’s administrators. The papers claim that Branca was terminated by Michael in 2003 and that he started an investigation on the attorney’s “embezzlement activities” in regards of his money. Michael’s mother has taken back her objection to John Branca and John McClain being the administrators of the will. Katherine’s attorney says that Michael’s mother thinks her actions are in the best interest of the late “Thriller” singer’s three children. The motion has just come after Joe’s request for an allowance of over $15,000 a month from the estate and may be addressed at Tuesday’s hearing.

They agreed to play three No Doubt songs as a band. . . . Activision then went and put them in 62 other songs and broke the band up [and] never even asked.”

David Letterman’s Blackmailer Wants Case Tossed
More details from David Letterman and the extortion case have been made public - and there is even more behind it. On Tuesday, arguments from an attorney for defendant Robert Halderman, the CBS producer accused of trying to blackmail the talk show host with details about his affairs with women he worked with, brought on new questions. Defense lawyer Gerald Shargel asked the New York judge to dismiss Halderman’s indictment, saying that his client wasn’t blackmailing anyone, but trying to make a “hard driven” deal to sell rights to a screenplay inspired by Letterman’s sexually-charged workplace. Shargel also announced that the prosecution’s case against the accused man “infringes on Halderman’s basic First Amendment right to author and/or sell book.” Halderman was arrested on October 1 for trying to extort $2 million from Letterman, threatening to spill information about his sexual affairs with female workers on Late Show. Documents released in court showed what Halderman’s attorney has called aggressive attempts to get a deal for a screenplay. Halderman felt “Letterman had created and fostered an environment of workplace sexual misconduct that under any definition amounted to actionable sexual harassment.” Halderman also found out this his girlfriend Stephanie Birkitt, had an affair with Letterman - the prosecution is arguing that his anger made it a plot of blackmail.

Jon Gosselin Counters with Lawsuit Against TLC
Continuing to wage his battle, Jon Gosselin and his legal crew will be making a lot of court visits. Along with divorce issues with estranged wife Kate Gosselin, the father of eight was also sued by TLC for breaking the contract. But the reality dad is not keeping quiet and retaliating with a $5 million lawsuit of his own towards them. Gosselin may argue that TLC is preventing him from making a living with a contract that is too strict. The 32-year-old’s lawyers Mike and Mark Heller have also complained that their client lacks sufficient legal representation when he signed his initial contract with TLC for Jon and Kate Plus 8. The network’s suit says that Jon violated his TLC contract by taking part in unauthorized business deals and interviews and that they are not stopping Jon from earning a living and he has always claimed he could go back to his job in Information Technology if needed. The contract suit will take place in Maryland court on December 14 and Gosselin faces a preliminary injunction hearing. On-and-off-again girlfriend Hailey Glassman, friend Kate Major, and Michael Lohan will all be able to testify along with Jon.

A lawyer for the TV news producer accused of blackmailing David Letterman plans to ask a judge to dismiss an extortion case that prompted the late-night comic to acknowledge affairs with staffers.

Robert J. “Joe” Halderman is due in a Manhattan court Tuesday. His defense attorney, Gerald Shargel, said he planned to challenge whether the evidence presented to a grand jury was sufficient and ask a judge to dismiss the attempted first-degree grand larceny charge against his client.
