911 Call Released In Marie Osmond’s Son’s Death
The 911 call has been released in the death of Marie Osmond’s son, Michael Bryan, who committed suicide on February 26.

In the call, placed by a female who lived in the apartment building which Bryan jumped from in downtown Los Angeles, the woman tells the 911 dispatcher she witnessed the fall from the seventh floor of the 15-floor building.

Actor Corey Haim has died, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

The Los Angeles County Coroner’s office confirmed the actor died at 2:15 AM on Wednesday at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Burbank, Calif.

The Los Angeles Police Department said they received a call from the hospital before 4 AM confirming the actor’s death.

DMX Back In Jail For Alleged Probation Violation
Authorities in Arizona say rapper DMX has been arrested for allegedly violating his probation by using drugs.

DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, had served about half of his 18-month supervised probation when he was booked Tuesday night into the downtown Phoenix jail. The rapper was released from jail in May after serving a 90-day sentence for felony convictions including cruelty to animals, theft and two drug counts.

‘Spartacus’ Star Has Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma
Andy Whitfield, who plays the title role in the Starz Original series “Spartacus: Blood and Sand,” has been diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The British-born actor will begin treatment immediately.

The network says the cancer was discovered during a routine checkup as the 38-year-old Whitfield prepared to begin shooting the second season of the action-adventure series, which is filmed in New Zealand.

Charlie Sheen: Back to Work
He’s been working out his chemical dependency issues in a rehab facility as of late, and Charlie Sheen has announced he’ll return to the set of “Two and a Half Men” later this month. According to a report, the “Hot Shots” stud will complete his rehab stint, begun on February 23, and report for work on March 19th. Shortly after Charlie entered rehab, a source told press, “Charlie has relapsed into using both alcohol and cocaine and simply couldn’t put off entering rehab any longer. We wish him nothing but the best as he deals with this personal matter”. Prior to his return to work, Sheen is scheduled to appear in an Aspen, Colorado courtroom to answer to domestic abuse charges stemming from his Christmas Day arrest.

Corey Haim: Prescription Drug Overdose
As the story surrounding Corey Haim’s tragic death develops, police have reported finding four prescription bottles in his apartment. According to a report, the former teen idol is thought to have succumbed to a prescription drug overdose, though there aren’t any specifics at this time. A source told press that Haim stumbled out of bed around 1am this morning and dropped to the floor in front of his mom.  She called an ambulance and Corey was rushed to the hospital. Once he reached the hospital, Haim was pronounced dead at 2:15am.  In addition to the prescription drugs, Corey was said to have been sick with flu symptoms this week.

They tend to be surprised and hurt, and we understand that and we’re sorry for it.” Tatum O’Neal, the daughter of Fawcett’s longtime partner Ryan O’Neal, stated, “On behalf of myself, my father Ryan O’Neal and my entire family, we are deeply saddened that a truly beautiful and talented actress Farrah Fawcett was not included in the memorial montage during the 82nd Academy Awards. The executive director of the film academy said Tuesday that Farrah Fawcett wasn’t included in the Academy Awards’ In Memoriam segment because the actress was better known as a TV star.

Letterman Extorter Pleads Guilty
The man accused of attempting to obtain money illegally from David Letterman was given his sentence on Tuesday (March 9). According to TMZ, Robert Halderman was just sentenced to 6 months in jail, 5 years probation and 1,000 hours of community service. Under the terms of the deal, Halderman will serve 500 hours of community service in New York and the rest in Connecticut. In the courtroom after pleading guilty to extortion, Halderman said, “I have great remorse and sincerely apologize to David Letterman and Stephanie Birkitt. I attempted to extort $2 million from David Letterman.” Halderman called it “a thinly veiled threat.”
